We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Director in the Office of Significant Investments Review in MTI.

As the Assistant Director of the Office of Significant Investments Review in the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI), you will be part of a pioneering team that will: • Develop and implement policies to safeguard Singapore’s economic security in response to emerging trends in the global economic, geo-political and security environments. • Closely engage and provide guidance to industry stakeholders on regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance to regulations and prepare recommendations on corrective actions. • Regularly review policies to ensure a progressive regulatory regime that is responsive to the global climate and business needs. You will have the opportunity to: • Shape and implement polices which will have a long-term impact on the economic security of Singapore. • Develop a keen understanding of the intersect between policy and commercial frameworks from both a domestic and international perspective. • Establish deep working relationships across multiple agencies and industries (both locally and internationally)

• Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills • Excellent writing and communication abilities • Able to work well independently while being a strong team player • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and emerging/nascent areas of work • Willing to learn new skills including conducting investigations, policy communications and market surveillance/monitoring
