What the role is

As an intern with the Human Resource Development team, you will work on building capabilities in CSC including introducing new initiatives and programmes related to Digital, AI, and Learning Technologies (DALT) in Civil Service College. This role provides a hands-on opportunity to shape CSC’s learning landscape, create resources, and foster collaboration across departments.

What you will be working on

1. Build Capabilities in DALT o Support and recommend strategies to incorporate core digital and AI competencies into capability development plans for CSC officers. o Develop practical guides and engagement sessions that support staff’s transition to the new digital learning system with focus on processes relating to trainers’ contracts. 2. Design Communication Materials o Evaluate and propose ways of leveraging on Agency Learning Space within the new digital learning system. o Create engaging Capability EDMs and communication materials to support various capability-building initiatives across CSC. o Share resources that inspire greater adoption and understanding of digital tools and learning technologies. 3. Departmental Collaboration o Coordinate regular check-ins with capability-building teams across CSC to align and integrate initiatives effectively. o Highlight and amplify department-specific success stories to inspire cross-department collaboration. 4. Elevate the Role of Department Learning Partners (DLPs) o Support efforts to position DLPs as strategic partners in driving department-specific capability-building initiatives. o Develop resources to guide and empower DLPs in their role as key enablers of organizational learning. By the end of your internship, you will have: • Gained experience in building capabilities for staff to use digital and AI tools • Developed skills in communication design, including creating targeted EDMs and support learning materials. • Enhanced your ability to collaborate across departments and build alignment with key stakeholders.

What we are looking for

• Interest in HR, learning technologies, and digital tools. • Strong communication skills, both written and visual, with an eye for design. • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team setting. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, or similar design tools is a plus. This is an opportunity for interns passionate about digital transformation, HR, and capability building.
