The Head (Transformation) supports the Deputy Director (Strategy & Transformation) in advancing HTX's digital transformation initiatives. This role is pivotal in fostering a digital-first mindset within the organisation by seamlessly integrating technology into business operations and empowering all staff to embrace digitalisation in their workflows. By co-creating digital solutions with users through the citizen developer principle, providing training and concierge support, and cultivating a pool of passionate digital champions, the Head (Transformation) significantly contributes to the successful digital transformation of the organisation.

The jobholder is responsible for the following: · Lead the Transformation team in achieving the organisation’s digital transformation objectives. · Manage digitalisation requests from users, prioritise them, and ensure optimal staff assignment for collaborative development with users. · Make technical decisions and provide guidance to the team in problem analysis and solution development, ensuring adherence to co-building and citizen development principles. · Guide the team in delivering high-quality solutions that align with UI/UX standards and guidelines. · Implement digital solutions through low-code / no-code platforms, partnering and co-working with product teams to develop more complex backend as required. · Oversee the team's efforts in conducting regular training sessions and providing concierge services to enhance staff adoption and proficiency in using digital tools. · Lead the team in developing a pool of passionate and competent digital champions to extend the reach of digitalisation across all organisational functions. · Conceptualise, lead and conduct relevant digital training workshops. · Foster a culture of learning, experimentation, and continuous improvement within the team. · Stay updated on new digital tools, engineering practices, and technologies, and continuously enhance the team's processes and practices.

· Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent · Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in Information Technology · Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis, requirement gathering, project management, automation, analytics and low code / no code development is preferred · Minimum 3 years of experiences with agile methodology, design thinking with user-centric solutioning · Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions to design problems · Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to present ideas and influence stakeholders · Be adaptable and dynamic as things evolve · Be a dependable leader where the team can trust your guidance, rely on your support, and feel empowered to achieve their best. * All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
