Principal Finance Executive / Senior Finance Executive

You will be part of the LTA Finance team, responsible for the accounting and reporting of LTA’s assets (corporate, rails, roads) to ensure effective assets control, compliance with regulatory policies/standards and support strategic decision making on assets related initiatives to achieve optimal life-cycle benefits. This role will require you to support business groups on fixed asset management matters to ensure asset policies, controls and procedures are adhered to.

Your key responsibilities include:
 executing day-to-day finance operations/advisory work to support assets accounting and reporting;
 executing month-end and year-end closing processes to support financial report preparation;
 performing cost reviews and capitalisation of development projects;
 partnering our business groups in the management and custodian of assets through the asset’s lifecycle;
 support and implement the digitized processes and enhancements to achieve work efficiency.

• Tertiary Education in Business/ Accountancy
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant working experience is preferred
• Effective team player who is committed and self-driven
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, meticulous and is able to work independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Knowledge of SAP Financial system will be an added advantage
• As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment.”
