To overcome our land constraints, Singapore is looking to tap on electricity imported from regional power grids, to allow Singapore to access cleaner energy resources outside Singapore's borders.
You will join a dynamic and multi-disciplinary team tasked to facilitate imports into Singapore and regional grid interconnections. Specifically, you will join the Planning branch in the Energy Connections Office, where your key responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing EMA's policies and regulations to enable the electricity imports projects; and
Collaborating with government and private sector stakeholders on land planning, permits & approvals, project financing, and other necessary measures to ensure project success.
Requirements:
We are looking for people with strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate and co-create creative and practical solutions across multiple internal and external parties.
You must be comfortable working in ambiguous and evolving environments, with a proactive and adaptable mindset.
You must be open to grasp and apply technical concepts, deep-dive into the technology, supply chains and economics of these projects.
You should also be a team player and be prepared to travel overseas for work. Those with prior experience in project/stakeholder management, electricity trading, and industry engagement will have an advantage.
