You will be working on the budget and project enhancement for NLB as a Finance Intern under the Finance, Procurement & Administration Division.

What you will be working on

  • Support Finance Business Partners to deactivate inactive projects, create database to forecast budgets for new funding requests, evaluate project application papers and draft project summary emails for approval.
  • Support Finance Budget Team to conduct data gathering and analytics of expenditure to secure funding from parent ministry, create automatic emails to extract data for reporting and assist to map strategic dimensions to budget templates for Resource Allocation Dashboard.
  • Design electronic direct mails (EDMs) for project applications and budget and assist with trainings and engagements with divisions on budget and project knowledge sharing.
  • Hands-on experience in budget and project operations.


What we are looking for

  • Students from data analytics, project management, business, accountancy, or information technology related courses preferred.
  • Good communication and writing skills, a keen sense of resourcefulness.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to use advance Excel and Access tools such as Power Query, Power Pivot or Power BI to extract, transform and analyse data to create visualisations and reports would be advantageous.
