You will be working on dashboards for research studies as a Data Office Intern under the Strategy Division.

What you will be working on

Clean, merge and format large survey datasets using programming.
Create and update aesthetically-pleasing dashboards for two key research studies - Customer Satisfaction Survey and National Reading Habits Study.
Incorporate significance testing for key metrics into these two dashboards.
Present dashboards to NLB management.
Refine dashboards based on feedback.
Assist with uploading of and manging permissions to view dashboards.

What we are looking for

Students from Business Analytics/Data Science/Statistics or any related courses are preferred.
Good numeracy skills, a keen sense of interest in dashboarding.
Have intermediate knowledge of Tableau i.e. confident in calculated fields and setting up parameters, applying weights.
Familiarity with Python, R, SPSS or other software for significance testing and data manipulation.
Experience with designing and publishing dashboards that are pleasing aesthetically would be advantageous. You will be asked to give a show-and-tell of a Tableau dashboard you have built during the interview.
