As a Lead Manager/ Assistant Director, Data & Analytics in the Higher Education Planning Office, you will be part of a team involved in shaping the Higher Education and Skills (HES) landscape. This is a Deputy team lead role and you will oversee a team to design and develop systems to collect and analyse data, form insights to inform national manpower and skills planning, as well as policy reviews related to HES training landscape and pathways.

• Oversee a team of data analytics officers • Project lead for specific data architecture and analytics/ research projects • Lead project teams to develop and implement systems and capability building plans for data administration and analytics across the Higher Education Group (HEG) • Lead project teams to study various policy research questions such as factors that influence economic outcomes of Institutes of Higher Learning (IHL) graduates • Oversee research collaborations with IHL researchers on policy research studies for the HES landscape

• At least 2 years of data analytics working experience • Possess strong interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrate project management skills and team leadership abilities • Possess strong quantitative skills in data analysis • Competent in the use of data administration and analytics tools and technologies (e.g. SAS, Tableau) In general, applicants can expect to hear from us within 3 weeks of the close of the application window.
