The HRSC is a centre under the HR Division of Ministry HQ providing key HR services for MHA’s workforce. There are six branches in HRSC. This post is under the Boarding and Development Services Branch, which oversees hiring, exit and development admin services in MHA.
Job Purpose
The job holder assists Assistant Director, Exit Management on the administration and processing of exit and re-employment functions for Home Team officers. He/She leads a team and is required to work closely with Home Team Departments (HTD), VITAL as well as liaise with officers on the processes.

What you will be working on
Principle accountabilities
• Process applications for exits (such as retirements, resignations, etc) and re-employments
• Provide advice to officers on procedures, process and guidelines related issues
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure cases are processed properly, and work processes are streamlined with a view to deliver quality HR services professionally
• Ensure efficient and accurate processing of exits and re-employments
• Responsible for proper record keeping and progress tracking of cases
Major Challenges
• Meeting the expectations of management and stakeholders and ensuring that service standards are met amidst a constant volume of cases.
• Understand the diverse profiles of the stakeholders and their requirements in order to accurately assess and recommend relevant solutions to meet the organisation’s needs.
• Keep up with changes to HR policies and operating landscape.
What we are looking for
• Preferably with working experience in Human Resource and supervisory experience
• Meticulous and independent worker who is able to carry out the job responsibilities with minimal supervision
• Has a passion for people and process improvements
• A team player with excellent interpersonal skills to engage, negotiate, and establish rapport with internal teams and other stakeholders to achieve goals and objectives
• Strong critical thinking and analytical capability, writing and problem-solving skills with attention to details
• Comfortable with data and new technologies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, SAP and automation would be an advantage
