You will be working on Curatorial Research and Exhibition Support as an Intern under National Library.

What you will be working on

  • Assist curators with in-depth research and content development for an upcoming exhibition, which includes research on selected Chinese novels, their adaptations, and their connections to Singapore and Southeast Asia.
  • Assist with exhibition-related tasks (e.g. securing image permissions, ogranisation of research materials).
  • Research and analyse exhibition-related trends in the cultural sector.
  • Support other ongoing exhibitions by helping with miscellaneous administrative and/or logistical tasks.

What we are looking for

  • Students from History, Chinese Studies, Literature, Museum Studies and related humanities courses preferred.
  • High proficiency in research and writing in both English and Chinese.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software.
  • Interest and/or experience in the work of museums, libraries and archives would be advantageous.
  • Ability to read Traditional and/or Classical Chinese would be advantageous to work on related projects.
