What the role is
Collaboration and teamwork are essential within the Media & Communications team, as well as when working alongside diverse teams across ITE. The role requires effective cross-functional coordination to ensure the successful execution of projects and alignment with ITE’s broader objectives.
What you will be working on
In this role, you’ll drive ITE’s public presence and engagement through various media channels. These will be your core responsibilities:
- Media Relations: Craft media angles, pitch stories, prepare press materials, and facilitate media interactions.
- Social Media: Produce dynamic content across ITE’s social platforms to engage audiences.
- Media Event Management: Plan and execute media events, manage logistics, and address follow-up inquiries.
What we are looking for
- A background in Mass Communications, Journalism, or a related field, with at least two years of experience in media relations, social media content creation, and managing media events.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for creating engaging content across social media and traditional media. Bilingual communication skills would be an advantage.
- Experience in multimedia content creation and proficiency with social media management tools and content creation software.
- A creative, results-driven approach to content creation and media relations.
- Strong organisational skills, a proactive attitude, and experience in managing media events and ensuring their successful execution.
