What the role is
What you will be working on
The Singapore Pavilion at UNFCCC COP30 aims to highlight Singapore’s thought leadership in climate action, and facilitate partnerships and impactful dialogue on climate change solutions.
As part of the core organising team, your scope of work includes:
• Programme Design
o Liaise with Pavilion Partners (e.g., government agencies, NGOs, private sector stakeholders) to design and curate programmes and panel sessions at the Singapore Pavilion
• Partnership Engagement
o Organise engagements in the lead up to COP30 (e.g., fireside chat with Minister, pre-trip briefing)
• Logistics Planning and Execution
o Assist in planning and logistics for the Pavilion, including design, equipment and materials
o Liaise with event management company to execute the logistics plan
o Assist in managing the travel arrangements for COP30 participants
What we are looking for
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills • Interest and experience working on event management or communications
• Understanding of and interest in climate change issues is a bonus
