We are seeking a Manager/ Senior Manager of the Air Navigation Services Safety Division (ANSS) to lead, develop and maintain the necessary processes and procedures for preventive and responsive security management of the Air Navigation Services (ANS) Group’s facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure the security protocols align with the regulatory guidelines and best practices. This role involves conducting regular risk assessments, establishing quality control activities, managing security inspections and audits, and raising security awareness within the ANS Group. You will also provide training to ensure staff adhere to the established security measures.

What you will be working on
- Security Strategy & Implementation:
Lead the development and implementation of security strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard ANS Group’s facilities in alignment with regulatory guidelines and security best practices. Ensure that security measures are preventive and responsive to evolving threats.
- Risk Assessments:
Conduct regular and thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats to ANS facilities. Use the findings to inform security plans, procedures, and improvements.
- Quality Control & Monitoring:
Establish and maintain an internal quality control system for the security operations of ANS facilities. Monitor and review security-related activities to ensure adherence to policies and regulatory requirements. Implement follow-up actions based on security audits and inspection findings.
- Audit & Inspection Management:
Administer post-security inspection and audit findings, ensuring that appropriate corrective actions are taken promptly. Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Security Awareness & Training:
Research, consolidate, and disseminate relevant security information to raise awareness across ANS staff. Conduct periodic security training sessions to ensure all employees are well-versed in security protocols and procedures.
- Compliance & Regulatory Coordination:
Stay up to date with national and international security regulations and industry standards. Provide recommendations to ensure full compliance with regulatory security frameworks set by the Regulator and other governing bodies.
- Incident Management:
Lead investigations into security breaches or incidents, providing detailed reports and actionable insights. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve security-related incidents effectively.
- Team Leadership:
Manage and oversee the security team, fostering a collaborative and proactive security culture. Ensure continuous development of team members through mentorship and training.
- Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the status of security operations, risk management activities, and any incidents or security concerns. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of security assessments, audits, and training activities.
What we are looking for
- At least 5- 10 years of relevant working experience in protective security management of critical infrastructure, with a proven track record in aviation security, and/or relevant enforcement background from public sector.
- In-depth knowledge of MHA Security-by-Design process for critical infrastructure.
- Motivated to work as a team to achieve team mission.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to influence and instill a strong security culture within the ANS Group.
- Able to think strategically and is driven and motivated to push boundaries and encourage change.
Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
