The Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) serves as the regulatory and developmental authority for the early childhood (EC) sector in Singapore, overseeing key aspects of children’s development below the age of 7, across both kindergartens and childcare centres. ECDA is an autonomous agency jointly overseen by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), and is hosted under the Ministry of Social and Family Development.
The Sector Planning Department in ECDA oversees infrastructure planning as well as manpower planning & programmes in close collaboration with industry partners and other government agencies.

What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be part of the manpower planning team working on strategies to ensure adequate manpower supply of good quality for the early childhood and early intervention (EI) sector.
For this role, you will be leading and driving overall manpower attraction and retention strategies for the EI sector.
• Analyse and track manpower data to derive manpower trends and patterns
• Develop, lead and implement initiatives to ensure strong and sustainable pipeline to meet service provision on ground
• Evaluate outcomes of manpower initiatives and review initiatives
• Operationalise the salary compliance framework for educators
