You will be part of the Vessel Traffic Management Department that supports the functioning of Port Operations Control Centre (POCC).
[What you will be working on]
You will be responsible for the manpower planning initiatives, which includes workforce optimisation of the Port Operations Control Centre (POCC) to ensure operational readiness through effective resource management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Execute roster plan with optimised manpower deployment
2. Collaborate with stakeholders on manpower planning to meet the evolving operation needs
3. Oversee attendance management and staff benefits administration
4. Oversee system integration between Workforce Management System (WMS) and Cumulus Workday
5. Analyse staffing patterns to enhance operational efficiency
6. Manage budget planning and vendor management for the department
7. Coordinate departmental events while ensuring minimal impact on operational needs
8. Provide administrative and logistical support for staff engagement activities, meetings, exercises, and marine emergencies
9. Utilise technological solutions to streamline manpower planning processes (including manpower planning, deployment and leave management)
10. Assist the Head of Department with manpower and process optimisation projects as assigned.
You will be co-ordinating the in-house/external courses for the staff, while ensuring that POCC operational needs are met. You will also assist in providing administrative and logistic support during staff engagement activities, meetings, exercises and marine emergencies.
Requirements
As the responsibilities require much interaction with both external and internal stakeholders, candidate should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as good writing and critical thinking skills. In this fast-paced job, candidate should have good time management skills and be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Given the dynamic nature of the role, candidate should also be able to work independently and be willing to attend to occasional operational exigencies after office hours.
