What the role is

The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) is Singapore’s planning authority. Our mission is to make Singapore a great city to live, work and play. We plan and facilitate the physical development of Singapore, in partnership with agencies and the community, to create a vibrant, sustainable and cosmopolitan city of distinction.

What you will be working on

As a member of the HR Business Partners’ Team, you will be engaging our Groups, establishing a strong partnership between Management and our core business. On a day-to-day basis, expect to provide HR consultancy covering all aspects of the employee life cycle. You will work closely with business units in manpower planning, talent development, employee engagement, governance and guide them in the approach in managing the team with alignment to our HR policies/legislation. In this role, you will also provide strategic insights and ground sensing of your Groups in attraction and retention, tapping on data analytics in the execution of workforce plans, initiatives and building a collaborative organization culture, achieving the desired business goals of your stakeholders.

What we are looking for

Key Competencies: • HR experience in a similar role with good communication skills in partnering business units in alignment with overall organisational goals. • Independent yet a team player, working within and across HR teams in solutioning and policy reviews. • Ability to adapt to needs of the business environment and foster good relations and trust of stakeholders. • Good knowledge of HR legislation (i.e. trained in HR management, IHRP certification, etc) and meticulous with numbers.
