What the role is

The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) champions the development of a future ready built environment for Singapore. Besides regulating building safety, we lead and transform the built environment sector in delivering a safe, high quality, sustainable and friendly built environment.

We are looking for resourceful, energetic and self-motivated individuals who are inspired to play an active role to make a difference to Singapore’s built environment.

Carry out system-wide regulatory reviews among agencies in the Built Environment (BE) sector.
Manage and track cases for Built Environment (BE) inter-agency platform to facilitate resolution of inter-agency regulatory cases.
Analyse Built Environment (BE) sector data to inform policy and regulatory reviews.
Administer the Building Control Regulations, review submissions for building plans including designs related to safety and barrier free accessibility.
Resolve feedback cases and investigate cases of violation of Building Control Act and Regulations for necessary enforcement actions.

Requirements:

Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Architecture.
At least 3 years of relevant experience
Good command of spoken and written English.
Good analytical, writing and communication skills.
