What the role is

You will be responsible for developing strategies and resources to raise the preparedness of workplaces in Singapore to respond to terror threats through the SGSecure@workplaces programme. You will also be responsible for tracking and presenting MOM’s ops health indicators and supporting the secretariat of the Singapore Inter-Agency Taskforce on Trafficking in Persons.

What you will be working on

SGSecure • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance business and workers understanding and readiness to tackle terror threats • Produce materials and develop content and platforms to help companies prepare their workplace for a possible terror attack. • Engage companies to understand their concerns regarding preparing for a terror threat. • Work with external vendors to develop platforms and materials to engage SGSecure Reps. Ops Health Dashboard • Lead the development and quarterly reporting of MOM’s ops health dashboard Trafficking in Persons Support the secretariat of the Singapore Inter-Agency Taskforce on Trafficking in Persons with research, coordination, and implementation of programmes aimed at combatting trafficking-in-persons.

What we are looking for

• Positive attitude and an inquisitive mind to learn and understand the diverse business areas of MOM • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills to gather and sense-make information in a structured manner • Good analytical, writing, communication and presentation skills to articulate and present findings clearly and effectively • Self-motivated team player with initiative and an independent worker with good interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence to liaise and collaborate effectively with different groups of stakeholders (internally across various divisions/departments within MOM and externally across various government agencies) • Able to effectively multi-task and manage issues that straddle different work areas • Ability to be resilient under pressure especially in times of crises • Data analytics/software skills with basic knowledge of data visualisation software like PowerBI/Tableau and Microsoft Office software like Excel, Word and PowerPoint
