What the role is

You will be part of the Resources team in the Transformation & Resources Department. The team oversees capability building, staff engagement, finance and procurement support, registry management and operation and logistic support, in ensuring smooth operation for our Division. Your portfolio will involve working closely with vendors, senior management and internal stakeholders.

What you will be working on

• Diagnose and identify training needs aimed at enhancing competencies of officers and leaders ensuring they are prepared for future and equipped to achieve MOM business strategies and objectives. • Develop and implement appropriate learning interventions aligned with MOM’s goals and business priorities. • Design, organise learning programmes, workshops, e-learning modules, seminars tailed to MOM’s competency frameworks and strategic goals. This includes partner with trainers/ speakers to design content, work out schedules, booking and set up of venue, design and gather evaluation form results • Partner with internal and external stakeholders, such as FMMD senior management, MOM Academy and external vendors to ensure training programmes are relevant, impactful and aligned with MOM’s needs. • Design effective communication materials for informed officers on upcoming learning events and happenings. • Measure training effectiveness, track progress and proposed initiatives for continuous improvement. • Manage various aspect of staff management functions, including temp staff and vendor management, onboarding, offboarding as well as integrating new employees into FMMD. • Development and implementation of strategies to enhance employee satisfaction, foster a positive workplace culture, improve communication, recognise achievements and promote collaboration within FMMD and MOM. • Identify areas for process improvement and recommend interventions to enhance employee engagement, productivity and capability. • Oversee relevant budget, ensuring optimal use of resources while delivering high-impact programmes.

What we are looking for

• 2 years of work experience preferred • Can translate high-level strategy into executable plans • Good analytical, problem-solving skills and Strong time management skills, including the ability to adapt, manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure to meet tight timelines. • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills • Good written and oral communication skills • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. • Strong team player, proactive, resourceful with good initiative and positive attitude.
