The Office of Chief Psychologist (OCP) provides thought and practice leadership in the strategic direction and planning for psychological services within the Ministry and the Social Service Sector. Specifically, it provides professional consultations, training, research and evaluation in the field of psychology and mental health.
You will be part of the team working on various research and evaluation projects within the social service sector serving Persons wtih Disabilities (PwDs) and their families. You will also be involved in the training and supervision of Research Officers/Assistants.

What the role is
What you will be working on
• Articulate research/evaluation questions
• Review and synthesise the literature
• Conceptualise the research/evaluation design
• Supervise/undertake and manage data collection
• Supervise/clean and prepare datasets
• Conduct statistical or thematic analyses
• Write up research/evaluation report
• Disseminate findings and recommendations
• Conduct audit of Programme Implementation and Processes
• Conduct interrater reliability for key assessment measures
• Conduct training in selected topics - Research Methods, Statistical Analyses, Data Preparation, Data Visualisation
What we are looking for
• At least a Master’s degree in Psychology or related discipline
• Experience with specialisation/competency in one or more of these areas will be an advantage - Adult Disability; Programme Development, Implementation, Monitoring, and Evaluation
• Relevant research and/or evaluation experience (preferably in social service settings)
• Strong competency in advanced statistical analyses
• Competent in SPSS/Mplus/R/Python
• Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills
