What you will be working on

Produce content for PMO social media and digital channels to engage the public, as well as to amplify and communicate government messages effectively. • Content Planning  Plan a line-up of social media posts based on content pillars.  Create and manage a content calendar and coordinate content publishing across various platforms.  Drive content ideation within the digital team, including conducting brainstorming sessions to come up with creative ideas / concepts  Provide guidance and training to team members on best practices in content creation.  Look out for new approaches to invigorate social media strategy • Messaging and Copywriting: Develop clear and concise messages for social media projects. Write clear, compelling and engaging copy and scripts for videos / posts. • Research and Analysis: Conduct research to understand target demographics, policy areas, and public sentiment to inform content direction. • Crisis Response: Assist in creating messaging for sensitive or crisis situations to ensure timely and appropriate communication. • Others: Support other functions within the digital team as required, including assisting with filming and updating of the PMO website etc.

What we are looking for

• Background in Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field. • Minimally 5 years’ experience in content strategy or digital communications, preferably in the public sector. Candidate is required to produce a portfolio demonstrating previous creative projects. • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (e.g., YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn etc.) and their respective best practices. • Strategic thinker who can effectively engage the public through thoughtful and impactful digital content. Strong ability to analyse data and derive actionable insights to enhance content strategy. • Good communication and writing skills (fluency in a mother tongue would be an advantage). • Possesses an innovative mindset with a passion for developing engaging and impactful content. • Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strong team player with good interpersonal skills. Resourceful, meticulous, and willing to learn. • Able to work on shifts and irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays; able to travel for work.
