What you will be working on

Produce content for PMO social media and digital channels to engage the public, as well as to amplify and communicate government messages effectively. • Content Creation: Develop and curate engaging content, this includes creating photo-based posts, stories and reels; supporting the execution of ad-hoc social media campaigns and provide guidance to team members on social media best practices and content guidelines. • Community Management: Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers and stakeholders on social media channels. • Messaging and Copywriting: Develop clear and concise messages for social media projects. Write clear, compelling and engaging copy and scripts for videos / posts. • Analytics and Reporting: Analyze social media metrics and performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of posts / campaigns and inform future strategies. • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to leverage new opportunities for engagement. • Crisis Response: Assist in creating messaging for sensitive or crisis situations to ensure timely and appropriate communication. • Others: Support other functions within the digital team as required, including assisting with filming and updating of the PMO website etc.

What we are looking for

• Background in Communications, Digital Media, Marketing or related fields • Minimally 3 years’ experience in digital media management, preferably in the public sector. Candidate is required to produce a portfolio demonstrating previous social media projects. • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (e.g., YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn etc.) and their respective best practices. • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects), CapCut, and MS Office applications. • Good communication and writing skills (fluency in a mother tongue would be an advantage). • Well-versed in social media platforms and online culture. • Experience in photography, graphic design, communications and website management would be an advantage. • Possesses an innovative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas for content and engagement strategies. • Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strong team player with good interpersonal skills. Resourceful, meticulous, and willing to learn. • Able to work on shifts and irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays; able to travel for work.
