What the role is
What you will be working on
The key responsibilities include:
Resource Planning and Procurement
• Plan and nominate qualified marking/moderation personnel to ensure the accuracy of marking/moderation
• Source and secure appropriate venues, considering factors such as capacity, accessibility, and necessary facilities
• Procure, configure, and distribute essential equipment and materials to support marking processes
• Develop and prepare communication materials, training programmes, and instructions for all stakeholders
Oversee the conduct of Post-Examination Activities
• Supervise all post-examination activities, ensuring adherence to protocols and timelines
• Provide first-level logistical support to address immediate concerns and minimise disruptions
• Work with vendor to deliver technical assistance for digital marking platforms, ensuring smooth operation and swift resolution of any issues
• Track progress in real-time, proactively addressing potential delays
• Support the script digitisation process, ensuring timely availability of examination materials
Examination Results Management
• Implement procedures for processing and collating examination marks and results
• Conduct comprehensive checks to verify the accuracy and integrity of all marks and results
Process and System Improvement
• Facilitate after-action reviews and perform data analysis to identify areas for enhancement
• Develop and implement targeted process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in future examination cycles
• Participate in requirement gatherings and User Acceptance Testing to improve systems
What we are looking for
• Preferably a bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience in educational assessment or examination management
• Experience in project management and knowledge of procurement processes
• Possess strong organisational, problem-solving and planning skills
• Able to lead and coordinate small group or project teams
• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and demonstrate adaptability
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite or equivalent, with a good understanding of IT systems and basic troubleshooting skills
