You will be part of the Community Outreach team and may be involved in the following:
Committee of Supply & Budget 2025
• Assist in designing infographics to amplify COS announcements on social media
• Assist in transcribing meeting minutes
• Assist in liaising with agencies to request for information, when needed
• Supporting officers to prepare media report and copywriting of social media posts
Hari Raya and Haj Comms
• Support officers for the development of marcomms products for pre-Haj media engagements and Hari Raya Haji prayers
• Support officers for onsite staffing when needed
• Other duties as assigned e.g. assist in creating the comms plan for events, working with agencies/ vendors, assist in preparing media reports, copywriting of social media posts
Singapore College of Islamic Studie (SCIS)
• Support officers for upcoming SCIS comms and engagements efforts for Minister Masagos.
• Compiling of media reports.
• Supporting copywriting of social media posts.
M3 Youth Festival (Jul)
• Lead in event publicity of M3 Youth Festival
• Support officers onsite
• Lead the comms plan and/or develop short-form videos for Minister and M3 platforms.
Wakaf Month / Wakaf Masyarakat Singapura (WMS) - (Aug)
• Support officers in publicity and staffing for WMS-related events
• Prepare any social media posts/ artworks, if any.
Media and events management
• Support comms for events, e.g. assist in drafting media materials, putting together comms and social media plan, facilitating media interviews, preparing media analysis reports
• Support media engagement
• Support onsite staffing when required
Social media
• Support the management of M3 social media
• Create content and assist to ensure greater outreach of M3 announcements and events
• Support in copywriting of social media posts

- Familiar with content creation tools for social media and design tools (Canva, Illustrator) (Optional)

- A strong team player
- Attuned to issues in the Malay Muslim community in the context of our multiracial and multireligious society
- Able to work weekends and weeknights (optional)
