What the role is

The Human Resource Team in MND works closely with its Family of Statutory Boards (of close to 10,000 in staff strength) to support MND Family-wide objectives and strategic priorities through a range of HR initiatives, across several spectrums of HR, such as talent management, key learning focus areas, and other HR policies. Within MND, it supports the manpower needs of the organisation, as well as the growth and development of officers.

What you will be working on

As Manager/Assistant Director (HR Benefits and Services), you will play a key role in the effective and efficient management and administration of HR functions and systems relating, but not limited to, compensation and benefits, awards and recognition, HR governance and knowledge management as well as discipline and performance management matters. Your key responsibilities include: • Managing the HR processes for in-service officers effectively and ensuring good standard of service delivery • Reviewing and streamlining HR operational policies and processes for timely and efficient delivery of HR services • Supporting the review and implementation of new HR initiatives and strategies including the use of ops-tech integration • Providing advice to line managers and employees as subject matter experts

What we are looking for

• Preferably candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience in HR • Able to work independently with good communication skills (both written and spoken) and interpersonal skills to engage different stakeholders • Meticulous with a service-oriented and problem-solving mindset • Good organisation skills and able to work under pressure and tight timelines • Ability to use data and analytics to generate insights for forward planning • Knowledge of common productivity tools which can aid digitalisation efforts
