What the role is

As the Manager/ Senior Manager of Information Management in the Special Educational Needs (SEN) Division, you will lead Data Management initiatives, drive technological adoption, and improve processes to support the division's strategic and operational objectives. You will also be required to engage various stakeholders such as policy owners and operational units to understand their requirements and translate these into system specifications.

What you will be working on

• Analyse data and develop and maintain data models and visualisations to communicate key performance metrics, insights and inform strategic decision making • Collaborate with service delivery teams to understand data needs, provide recommendations, implement solutions and promote data literacy across the organisation; Identify business needs with users/ ops officers and converting these business needs into specific system requirements • Oversee SEN data management and address data requests from internal and external agencies, while ensuring compliance with data transfer and sharing policies • Develop and execute system transition plans, including change management plans • Develop and implement technology strategies to streamline processes and enhance efficiency; Oversee the implementation of digital tools and systems to improve workplace productivity This is an individual contributor role. What we are looking for

• Formal training in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, applied mathematics, business analytics, data science or economics would be an advantage • Comprehensive understanding of data management processes across the entire data lifecycle (including creation, collection, transformation, storage, visualisation and analysis) • Keen interest in data analytics and systems enhancements, coupled with proficiency in data management, statistical methods and analytical tools • Proficiency in several tools such as Excel, Macros, Python, Tableau / Power BI, and UiPath • Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team • Strong collaborative skills, particularly when engaging with diverse stakeholders who have varying interests and perspectives • Meticulous attention to detail balanced with a good sense of perspective • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and engage effectively with diverse audiences In general, applicants can expect to hear from us within 3 weeks of the close of the application window.
