The job purpose is to assist the Assistant Director, Planning to develop, execute and track progress of CNB’s strategic plans and organisation performance, in line with the Bureau’s desired outcomes. This includes providing secretariat support to CNB’s Chief Transformation Officer in driving CNB’s Transformation Plans. The job also involves planning and implementing CNB’s key workplan events to communicate and advance CNB’s drive towards organisation excellence. As part of strategic/corporate planning, the job will also be involved in the organisation of visits to CNB by MHA senior management.
The job-holder reports to Assistant Director, Planning under Policy, Planning and Research Division (PPRD).

What you will be working on
Main Responsibilities
• Monitor and track progress of key workplans as well as the performance of key organisational excellence indicators, for subsequent analysis on improvements that will facilitate achievement of CNB’s strategic objectives.
• Assist in planning and coordinating key corporate planning events (Corporate Planning Seminar, Divisional Planning Seminar, Workplan Seminar) to articulate CNB’s operational strategies and showcase key initiatives and deliverables.
• Assist in coordinating visits to CNB by MHA senior management.
• Assist AD in planning and implementing initiatives for transformation engagement and capability development, as well as initiatives to encourage and sustain innovation efforts in CNB.
• Assist in driving the adoption of Behavioural Insights in CNB.
• Assist the resource planning team with managing CNB’s short and long-term budget, manpower and infrastructure needs. This includes evaluating CNB Divisions’ resource requests while ensuring our eventual resource allocation allows us to develop capabilities to meet current and future challenges.
• Provide secretariat support and other administrative duties to ensure smooth operation of the planning function within the Division.
What we are looking for
The job holder should possess strong conceptualisation, organisation and implementation skills. The job holder must be able to write and communicate well. Competent presentation skills would be an advantage. In addition, the person must be meticulous, a good team player, possess good interpersonal skills to work with staff of different job levels, and be willing to experiment with or adopt new approaches.
