What you will be working on

This incumbent shall champion the vision of an inclusive Singapore by ensuring accessible sporting opportunities for people with disabilities (PwDs). DSMP Coordination & Secretariat Support • Work closely with the Assistant Director (PSA) to plan and coordinate the implementation of key DSMP initiatives. • Develop a comprehensive timeline and action plan for each initiative. • Facilitate cross-group/ divisional collaboration within SportSG for DSMP implementation. • Establish a robust monitoring system to track the progress of all DSMP initiatives under SportSG’s purview. • Conduct regular check-ins with initiative leads to assess progress and identify potential issues. • Analyse data and prepare progress reports on DSMP implementation. Stakeholder Liaison • Act as the primary point of contact between SportSG and MCCY for DSMP-related matters. • Coordinate communication and information sharing with relevant government agencies and external partners. • Organise and facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions as needed. Issue Management • Identify and escalate potential challenges or roadblocks in DSMP implementation. • Collaborate with relevant parties to develop and implement solutions. • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions. Fund Curation • Collaborate with the Team Lead and Assistant Director (PSA) to develop fund guidelines and criteria. • Identify key focus areas and priorities for fund allocation. • Design application processes and evaluation frameworks. Fund Implementation and Management • Launch and promote the Enabling Sport Fund to potential applicants. • Manage the application and selection process. • Coordinate the review and approval of fund applications. • Oversee the disbursement of funds to successful applicants. • Monitor fund utilisation and ensure compliance with guidelines. • Manage the fund's budget and financial reporting. Cross-divisional Coordination • Establish and maintain communication channels with relevant divisions within SportSG. • Facilitate collaborative processes for efficient grant administration. • Organise cross-divisional meetings and working groups as needed. Programme Support for Assigned Cases • Provide guidance and support to fund recipients in programme implementation. • Monitor the progress of funded projects and initiatives. • Identify opportunities for synergy among different funded programmes. Programme Evaluation for Impact Assessment • Develop and implement evaluation metrics for funded programmes. • Collect and analyse data on the impact of the Enabling Sport Fund. • Prepare impact reports and success stories.

What we are looking for

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following: • At least 7 years of proven experience and/ track record in relevant areas, e.g. sport development, academy/club management related work • Good understanding of Singapore sporting ecosystem • Prior experience in project management will be an advantage • Deep understanding of sports sector and disability issues • Experience in competitive sport and/or coaching preferred • Genuine understanding and commitment to disability inclusion and ability to consider diverse perspectives and needs in decision-making • Self-motivated and able to work independently • Good organisational, project management and administrative skills. • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances • Meticulous approach to monitoring and tracking multiple initiatives • Strong interpersonal skills and strategic thinking for diverse stakeholder management • Adaptable, resilient, and committed to promoting inclusivity in sports • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. • Strong focus on achieving measurable outcomes in disability sports participation • Proficient computer skills (standard software applications such as MS Office, email communications and internet research). The level of offer will commensurate with applicants’ experience and track records. Successful candidates will be offered a 2/3-year contract in the first instance.
