Manager / Senior Manager - Licensing (Contract)
What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be part of the Licensing Branch under the Industry Standards and Regulatory Division, to manage pet licensing in Singapore, through a licensing regime to safeguard animal health and welfare.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our licensing team as a main touchpoint for all licensing-related processing and feedback.
Your scope of work includes:
Manage and review licence applications, relevant processes, and policies
Manage feedback and enquiries from various stakeholders
Administration of the licensing system which includes work on IT system redevelopment and enhancement(s) to streamline processes for better customer experience
Analyse data on current licensing regime and information points
You will also be engaging licensees in areas which includes but is not limited to, clarifying licensing requirements and following up on outstanding documentation, reviewing consultations, and attending to appeals. You will also provide support for projects undertaken by the department and organization as well as participating in inter-agency conversations, projects and community engagement activities.
What we are looking for
An organized, creative and resourceful team player who is able to work independently
Data analytics/behavioural insights background with knowledge of statistics and data analysis tools
Relevant work experience in public interaction preferred
Good interpersonal and writing skills to manage public queries
Competent in Microsoft Office applications
