What the role is
What you will be working on
You will have the opportunity to design and conduct qualitaitive research in MSE's research unit - the Environmental Behavioural Sciences and Economics Research Unit.
In this project, the research aims to understand what consumers preferences are when purchasing groceries and the potential levers to shift these decisions.
You will be part of the entire research process - to do a literature scan on consumer behaviour, craft a discussion guide suitable to the method chosen (e.g. focus group discussion) and potentially assist in the pilot/actual study. This would give you insight as to how research is conducted in the Government context.
What we are looking for
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to conduct qualitative research (e.g. focus group discussions, in-depth interviews, participant observation)
- Ability to work well in a team
Period of internship: May to Aug 2025
