What you will be working on

Project: Neither Black Nor White - Conservation in Singapore • As land-scarce Singapore develops and redevelops, we are increasingly having to contend with trade-offs between what we ought to retain, and what ought to make way for other needs. Can our heritage (natural or built) and history be valued in dollars and cents? Can development and growth, co-exist with conservation and retaining our past? • Study what other countries do or consider for conservation - suggest a framework to think about and quantify the trade-offs, and contribute to decision-making on what we should conserve and the costs/benefits of doing so. • A successful candidate should ideally have a background in economics, public policy and related disciplines.

What we are looking for

• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills. • Strong interpersonal, writing and communication skills. • Self-starter with the ability to work independently. • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. • Integrity and strong sense of national interest.
