What the role is

As a Digitalisation Strategy, Governance and Policy professional, you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, policies, and frameworks to guide overall organisation’s digital transformation, ensuring compliance, and maximizing the value of technology investments.

What you will be working on

1) Policy Development and Implementation: • Formulate and implement policies to enhance digital product development • Develop frameworks for responsible technology adoption and risk management in digitalisation • Analyse emerging technological trends and their policy implications 2) Strategic Planning, Implementation & Governance: • Leading digitalisation initiatives and governance frameworks • Establishing and managing data and AI governance • Supporting digitalisation planning and implementation and ensuring alignment with organisational objectives 3) Stakeholder Management: • Collaborating across the Ministry Family • Coordinating cross-cutting digitalisation plans • Building relationships with diverse stakeholders 4) Performance Tracking and Analytics: • Develop processes to support digitalisation planning and implementation • Contribute to growing the analytics function to track digitalisation outcomes • Monitor and evaluate the performance of digital transformation initiatives The role requires strong leadership skills with strategy, policy, technical knowledge and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships in diverse environment, in addition to undertake ad hoc projects and analysis work or any other duties assigned when required.

What we are looking for

• At least 5-8 years of experience in technology policy, public policy, strategic planning, or a related field • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and writing skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders • Ability to present recommendations to senior management effectively • Understanding of tech trends and their societal and regulatory implications • Excellent communicator in articulating plan at both the executive level and the working level and is an attentive listener to understand needs and issues, with strong presentation skills, both written and verbal. • Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills. Added Advantages: • Experience in product management or developing digital products is advantageous • Project Management-related certifications such as CITPM, COMIT or PMI. • Agile-related certification such as Certified Scrum Master.
