What the role is
What you will be working on
You will work to ensure that MOH’s emergency crisis structure and plans are in-synced with MOH’s operational planning parameters and the wider healthcare sectors’ capabilities. In doing so, you ensure that crisis response plans are operationally viable, scalable and sustainable. In particular:
• Review MOH’s National Emergency (NE) structure, comprising of MOH HQ and healthcare entities with NE roles.
• Coordinate the development and review of MOH’s NE plans.
• Modify and adapt MOH’s NE structure and plans to other non-NE crisis scenarios, when applicable.
• Develop and conduct NE exercises and readiness activities for the Healthcare Sector as part of WoG’s readiness framework.
As part of MOH’s crisis planning team:
• Coordinate the development of new WoG scenarios; thereafter to develop the healthcare sector’s emergency and crisis response plans.
• Coordinate the implementation of new plans to ensure ops-policy integration between the healthcare sector and across WoG.
You would also be MOH’s deskhead to WoG Crisis Management forums:
• MOH’s Point-of-Contact with Crisis Management Forums to provide MOH’s response/ inputs.
• Assess the requirements cascaded through the Crisis Management Forums to MOH; identify appropriate stakeholders in the Health Sector and coordinate with stakeholders to consolidate and provide MOH’s response.

• Possesses operational experience with background in contingency planning or experience working in the healthcare sector
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into actional operational plans
• Good writing and effective communication skills
• Responsive and adaptive in a dynamic working environment
• Experience in the civil service will be advantageous
