What the role is

The candidate would support the Transformation team in conceptualising and implementing organisational & capability development initiatives, to strengthen the effectiveness of internal communications, drive employee engagement, and support workforce transformation and capability building efforts to become a future-ready, skilled and agile organisation which is able to respond to the evolving socioeconomic context and collective demands on infrastructure.

What you will be working on

The candidate will be involved in: (a) Working with stakeholders on conceptualising and implementing organisational development initiatives such as the MND HQ Intranet and Internal Comms Strategy, Employee Engagement / Pulse Survey and Townhall. (b) Supporting the MND Family's capability building efforts to guide officers in their professional growth and support learning needs, by developing capability building plans in priority areas such as Science & Technology, training roadmaps and sponsorship frameworks; (c) Collaborating with MND Divisions and Statutory Boards to make recommendations to the Minister for National Development and MND Senior Management on the above.

What we are looking for

• Applicant with tertiary qualification from Communications, Humanities, Social Sciences or Business-related major are preferred. • Applicant should be adaptable, a team player, and possess good writing and critical thinking skills. Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva, communications and event planning would be an advantage. Internship Period Requirements • Period of Internship: Mar to Sep 2025 (minimum commitment of 3 months). • Please indicate your availability in your application and/or if you can commit to a longer duration.
