What the role is

The Workplace Policy and Strategy Division (WPSD) in MOM develops policies covering a wide spectrum of issues to address the needs of the changing workforce and foster a more inclusive workplace. The intern will be involved in conducting research on senior employment landscape internationally, developing strategies to galvanise key stakeholders, and working closely with employers to develop innovative projects to support senior employment.

What you will be working on

1. Support the planning and execution of senior employment engagement initiatives, which include liaising with key stakeholders (e.g. employers, unions, government agencies) and preparing engagement materials to gain buy-in 2. Conduct desktop research on age-friendly jobs and workplace practices, assess and recommend relevant learning points to inform the design of prototypes 3. Work closely with employers in their prototype development to identify barriers and enablers for successful implementation
