Internship

What the role is

The Leaders in Tripartism Programme (LTP) is part of Singapore’s commitment to support the region in preparing for the future of work, in line with the ILO’s Centenary Initiative. The LTP is envisaged to be a 3- or-4 day event focusing on fostering a community of senior labour practitioners involved in their countries’ preparations for the future of work; and facilitating exchanges of their experiences and insights in areas such as workplace safety and health, tripartism and training and upskilling. The LTP aims to create opportunities for networking amongst tripartite labour representatives to promote collaboration and strengthen ties in the region. Participants in the LTP will comprise an estimated 50 representatives in total, from governments, unions and employers across the 10 ASEAN member states, Plus Three ASEAN Dialogue Partners (China, Japan and the Republic of Korea) and the International Labour Organization. The LTP will tentatively be held in September 2025. While the LTP itself may fall outside the internship window (May to August), there is opportunity for the applicant to extend the internship on a part-time basis and attend the LTP, if their schedule permits.
