What the role is
What you will be working on
• To plan and implement workflows and processes, with the use of relevant data and technology, to support the administration of levy-related policies and support schemes to meet policy objectives, e.g. do requirements gathering, system testing
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to review and recommend enhancements to policies, operational processes and customer communications for improved efficiency and service delivery
• Identify process gaps through data analysis, propose system enhancements to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency and work with stakeholders and vendors to implement system enhancements
• Assess levy-related appeals effectively, including drafting submissions to management, and provide expert advisory on levy matters
• Manage complex/difficult cases escalated by frontline officers and guide junior officers on the appropriate handling of enquiries/requests
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned, such as managing dashboards and supervising junior officers on the payment reconciliation for unreconciled payments
• Design, maintain, and optimise dashboards for performance monitoring and decision-making
What we are looking for
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyse large datasets to inform decision-making and identify process improvements
• Good problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to tackling complex issues and identifying system enhancement opportunities
• Keen eye for process optimisation and ability to translate data insights into actionable system or process enhancements
• Strong communication skills to present data findings and process improvement recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proficiency or experience in data extraction (SQL or Python) and visualisation tools (Tableau, PowerBI) is preferred
• Ability to work independently and proactively, with a customer-focused mindset
• Be meticulous and resourceful; and able to handle multiple portfolios such as performing ops work, policy or process reviews, and project management
