What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be responsible for contract governance functions, including:
Providing advisory support on contract administration matters.
Conducting selective pre- and post-award compliance checks, such as payment validations, assessment of variations, and review of contract documentation.
Developing and implementing SOPs, frameworks, and best practices to improve consistency and accountability in contract management.
Supporting the monitoring and follow-up of audit findings, ensuring that recommendations and corrective actions are implemented.
Facilitating training and knowledge-sharing sessions to build capability among project managers and officers.
Exploring opportunities to enhance contract governance processes through digital tools, data analytics, and innovative practices
Preparing specifications, calling tenders, and supporting the award of contracts in accordance with government procurement policies and procedures.
What we are looking for
Areas of study in Building/Quantity Surveying, Project & Facilities Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
At least 2–3 years of relevant working experience in procurement, contract management, auditing, or governance.
Familiarity with Government procurement requirements, IM on Procurement, and PSSCOC preferred.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in reviewing payments, variations, and compliance documents.
Self-motivated team player with a high sense of integrity and accountability.
Good organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders.
Adaptable and able to manage reviews across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
