The job duties and responsibilities are mainly as follows:

• Perform financial, compliance and operational audits in the areas of procurement, payment, revenue collection, assets management, grant management. • Develop a risk-based audit programme, • Perform data analysis, • Horizontal analysis of internal control issues, • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and develop sound audit recommendations that add value to the organization, • Prepare audit report to communicate audit results to management.

• Degree in Accountancy, Information Technology or equivalent • Possess Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification recognised by the Institute of Internal Auditors • Minimum 3 years of auditing experience • Experience in process re-engineering or design (advantageous) • Skilful in data analytics tools such as Advanced EXCEL, Qlik, Python etc • Strong communication and critical thinking skills • Observant, meticulous and able to work under stress Candidate with more relevant years of experience can be considered for Senior Audit Officer position.
