
Laboratory Officer, Blood Component Processing

What the role is
What you will be working on
- Provide laboratory support in managing the national blood supply.
- Perform all tests and processes in the assigned laboratories, within set standard operating procedures and guidelines.
- Be involved in the preparation and quality control of blood, blood components and laboratory testing of donated blood for blood groups and infectious diseases.
What we are looking for
- Relevant qualificaitions in Science or relevant fields
- Working experience in a biomedical or healthcare laboratory setting is an advantage.
- Able to work shift duties, weekends and public holidays.
- Confident and team player
- Able to work and communication efficiently with stakeholders.
- Possess decision making capability for problem solving.
- Should also possess good analytical skills and work well under pressure.
The appointee can look forward to a competitive total package comprising of basic salary, shift allowances, shoe allowance, bonus payouts and other staff benefits.
