What the role is
What you will be working on
Your key responsibilities include:
Advising and assisting with legal matters relating to NParks’ functions, duties and operations, particularly contract, tenancy, claims and other regulatory and legal issues.
Keeping track of matters assigned to you and liaising with internal clients and external parties, such as law firms and insurers.
What we are looking for
Tertiary qualification in law (LL.B)
Qualified Person under the Legal Profession Act 1966 or called to the Singapore Bar.
At least 2 years' post-qualification experience in legal practice and/or as an in-house legal counsel in Singapore. Prior experience in regulatory and/or public sector in-house counsel work will be an advantage.
An analytical mind, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should also be able to exercise good judgment to deliver sound advice and practical solutions.
Good management and organisational skills and able to work both as a team player and independently to meet timelines.
