What the role is
What you will be working on
Key Responsibilities
As Deputy Director, you will lead the team to drive the design, policy and plans around digitalisation of Government-to-Business transactions, working across multiple relevant public agencies.
Your work would include working closely with the Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI) and Government Technology Agency (GovTech) on the following:
a) Developing and implementing the overall strategy for Digital Government Blueprint 2.0 (Business).
b) Working with other public agencies on simplifying policies and processes for key Government services (i.e. licences and financial incentives) before digitalisation.
c) Enhancing business grants governance to reduce the risk of fraud or errors and ensure effective use of public funds.
What we are looking for
Requirements
• At least 10 years of working experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate opposing interests, and collaborate with businesses, private sector bodies, and public sector agencies.
• Deep critical thinking skills and the ability to develop well-considered solutions.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, resourceful and action-based.
• Comfortable and skilled in navigating uncertainty.
• Experience in design thinking is preferred.
Prior managerial experience is preferred.
