The Executive / Senior Executive will play a crucial role in developing and implementing new halal certification standards for non-consumable products. This position will lead efforts to formulate, monitor, and improve standards and processes for halal certification in emerging product categories specifically non-consumable exports.

What the role is
What you will be working on
- Lead the formulation of new halal standards, schemes, and conditions for novel product categories, including but not limited to chemicals, medical devices (Class A, B, etc.), cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals.
- Oversee the monitoring and evaluation of compliance levels for newly implemented standards, schemes, and conditions.
- Spearhead the identification and implementation of new technologies and tools to enhance audit and inspection efficiencies.
- Manage project documentation and generate comprehensive progress reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment of new standards with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
What we are looking for
- Tertiary education in a relevant field (e.g., Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Pharmacy).
- At least 1 year of experience in standards development, quality assurance, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of halal certification processes and Islamic dietary laws.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Successful candidate will be appointed on contract basis.
