What the role is
What you will be working on
Key tasks include the following:
- Plan, organise and administer admission exercises, including end-to-end admissions process from application review to offer and enrolment
- Ensure that applications are processed promptly and in alignment with institutional policies.
- Review existing processes and propose enhancements to manage the admission exercises in a timely and accurate manner
- Monitor, analyse and report trends in admissions and course demand
- Manage course streaming and course transfer processes
- Maintain a strong understanding of the admissions policies and procedures, and work with internal stakeholders and external agencies on implementation of admission processes
- Manage system enhancements and development, including requirement gathering, user acceptance test and data verification
- Prepare data and statistics related to admissions
- Review, plan and deliver customer-centric services and procedures
- Manage admissions related enquiries and appeals
What we are looking for
- Relevant qualification with at least 5 years of relevant work experience
- Prior work experience from another educational institution would be advantageous
- High level of accuracy in data handling and reporting
- Able to multi-task and handle competing priorities within tight timeline
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Excellent communication skills (both spoken and written) and interpersonal skills
- IT savvy and proficient in using Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge in the use of tools for accurate and efficient analysis of large quantity of data such as Excel VBA, Python or R programming would be advantageous
