What the role is
The intern will have the opportunity to apply his/her skills and knowledge in diverse communications fields and acquire practical experience in a real-life corporate setting.
What you will be working on
[Scope of Internship]
The intern will have the opportunity to work on the following areas:
Content Creation: Developing written and visual content for various communications platforms
Digital Communication: Producing compelling stories and materials to profile HSA's work and people on social media
Multimedia Production: Creating diverse marketing collaterals (e.g. videos, motion graphics, podcast etc.) to support communications initiatives
Strategic Communications: Contributing to communications and branding efforts

After the internship, the intern will acquire practical experience in applying creative and strategic communication skills in a healthcare setting.
What we are looking for
- Undergraduate from a local tertiary institution and currently pursuing a course in Mass Communications or related fields.
- Have experience in social media content creation
- Familiar with design software tools e.g. Capcut, Adobe, Canva etc.

The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) applies medical, pharmaceutical and scientific expertise through its three professional groups, Health Products Regulation, Blood Services and Applied Sciences, to protect and advance national health and safety. HSA is a multidisciplinary authority. It serves as the national regulator for health products, ensuring they are wisely regulated to meet standards of safety, quality and efficacy. As the national blood service, it is responsible for providing a safe and adequate blood supply. It also applies specialised scientific, forensic, investigative and analytical capabilities in serving the administration of justice.
