This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape SportSG's data strategy and governance landscape, driving organisational change and fostering a data-driven culture within the sports sector. You will be reporting to the Team Lead of Data Strategy & Governance, Strategy Group and working on the following areas. • Drive the implementation of SportSG's data strategy initiatives to promote a data-driven culture across the organisation • Develop and deliver effective communications to promote best practices in data utilisation and management • Facilitate the adoption of data governance frameworks and standards across business units • Manage data-related projects, liaising with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful implementation and alignment with organisational goals • Monitor project development and timelines, ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely completion of initiatives • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners to foster collaboration and support for data projects and initiatives • Oversee the SportDexSG platform, including content development and management, user engagement, communications, and collaboration with the IT team for technical enhancements • Manage content development and updates for SportSG's internal Data Portal, ensuring relevance and accessibility of information. • Provide administrative support for the maintenance of licences and user logs for data-related applications platforms • Contribute to data analytics projects for organisational sense-making and to inform planning and design within SportSG

This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active and a champion for organisational transformation through data. The ideal candidate should possess the following: • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or related fields. Graduates of other disciplines with relevant experience are welcome to apply • 3-5 years of experience in data governance, strategy, project management, or related roles • Experience using visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Amazon QuickSight) and statistical programming tools (e.g. Python) • Familiarity with data governance regulations and compliance requirements • Good understanding of data management principles and best practices • Familiarity with the suite of government analytics tools, and those of Government Commercial Cloud will be an advantage • Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills; able to work with and communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage a diverse range of stakeholders confidently and effectively. • Able to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Able to handle multiple simultaneous tasks, prioritise and meet deadlines. • Proactive, meticulous and results-oriented Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
