[What you will be doing]
Implement strategies to optimise funds management and utilisation to contribute to NHB’s strategic priorities
Prepare and review the annual and multi-year budget planning exercise through active partnership and engagement of key stakeholders and management, to ensure budget sustainability and alignment to the Board’s strategic outcomes
Manage specific funding sources, from submission of funding proposals, to drawing down of funds, allocation, utilisation, reporting and audits as required by funding agencies
Prepare management reports to support strategic decision-making and forward planning and ensure optimal allocation and utilisation of the Board’s financial resources, leveraging on technology solutions such as data analysis and visualisation tools
Engage and provide advice to relevant internal and external stakeholders on financial matters
Drive improvements in financial policies, processes and procedures
[What we are looking for]
Background in Accountancy or equivalent
Preferably with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience in finance strategic budgeting and resource management
Proactive, meticulous, and possess strong analytical skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Systematic and adopt a thorough approach to work, with a strong sense of accountability and sense of urgency.
Familiarity with WorkDay system, data analytics, and visualisation tools, is an advantage
Prior Finance experience in the Public Sector is an advantage
