What the role is
What you will be working on
The Registry is responsible for the management and disposal of cases, including processing, storing, retrieving of court documents and fixing hearings for matters which commenced in the Supreme Court.
You will be expected to:
• Assist to implement suitable data review processes, including validation and pre-processing to ensure that the data captured is of good quality and reliable
• Perform data extraction, verification and cleaning to facilitate meaningful analysis of caseload and judicial statistics
• Compile, organise, and maintain accurate, up-to-date statistics on caseload and judicial matters
• Identify system mapping errors and collaborate with IT teams for resolution
• Monitor various key performance measures and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient case conclusion
• Prepare timely and accurate reports on judicial statistics and key performance indicators to aid management's strategic planning and decision-making
• Develop customised reports incorporating data visualisation, leveraging tools like Power BI and Tableau
• Handle data requests and enquiries from internal and external stakeholders
• Coordinate with relevant departments on timely reporting and maintenance of statistics in case management systems
• Stay abreast of the latest data analytics technologies and tools
• Participate in workflow improvements and system enhancement initiatives to boost operational efficiency
• Perform any other tasks as and when assigned
What we are looking for
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of relevant working experience in data analysis or a similar role
• Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel (advanced functions and report generation) and Word
• Experience with statistical analysis programmes (e.g. Tableau) and knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python) will be an advantage
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to review complex datasets
• Result-oriented, able to multi-task and work under pressure
• Meticulous and strong organisational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

The successful candidate will be appointed on a one-year probationary contract in the first instance.
