What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be part of the 2 Financial Planning team responsible to ensure governance and controls for Bus related initiatives/ schemes as well as budgeting and funding matters. Your roles are as follows:
a) Lead in the analysis, and reporting of Bus related initiatives/ schemes’ budgets and mid-term expenditure projections.
b) Partner LTA Groups to provide inputs on business processes and key business cost drivers for Bus related initiatives/schemes.
c) Provide financial, funding and governance advisory to LTA Groups, to enhance quality of funding proposals for Bus related initiatives/schemes (e.g. suggesting best practices and cost optimisation opportunities).
d) Contribute to the development, planning and implementation of Bus related initiatives/schemes in line with the delivery of the organization’s strategic objectives.
e) Contribute to the drive for continuous improvements by streamlining/optimizing existing business processes and recommending/implementing digitalisation initiatives to achieve business excellence.
f) Any ad hoc assignments
What we are looking for
• Tertiary qualification, preferably Bachelor of Accountancy/Business Administration/Finance or equivalent professional qualifications such as ACCA, Chartered Accountant
• At least 4 or more years of relevant working experience • Good working knowledge and understanding of risk assessment and internal controls
• Good analytical skills, resourceful, meticulous and a team player
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact across different internal & external stakeholders and at all levels
• Data analytics knowledge will be an advantage
