What the role is

The Intelligence Department at the Foreign Manpower Management Division provides timely intelligence to support policy making and enforcement activities for the effective management of foreign manpower. This is achieved through strategic and operational analysis, field intelligence and information capability and development. The department also builds strategic partnerships with other enforcement agencies.

What you will be working on

• Conduct studies and investigations into organisations and individuals to identify potential circumvention of work pass frameworks and initiate enforcement actions • Analyse foreign workforce trends, recruitment processes, employment conditions, and living conditions in Singapore • Monitor trends to anticipate emerging issues or concerns regarding recruitment process for different nationalities of workers, their employment and living conditions • Coordinate or support enforcement operations based on analytical findings • Conduct strategic and thematic studies for foreign manpower management • Additional responsibilities for senior officers include leading a team of analysts, presentations of findings to senior management, and driving strategic policy reviews and research initiatives.

What we are looking for

• Preferably 2-7 years of experience in performing enforcement or regulatory functions • Experience in intelligence analysis • Strong writing and presentation skills • Good interpersonal skills and teamwork • Familiarity with data extraction and management tools (e.g. Hyperion, Powerpivot) is preferred • Expertise in using analytical and/or visualisation tools (such as R, Tableau, Power BI) will be an added advantage
